Course objectives
An overview of destructive and non-destructive methods of archaeological investigation and research, their characteristics, use and advantageous application, based on the situation in the field; basic measuring operations, levelling, drawing excavated blocks and individual archaeological artefacts in plane view, etc.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Praktické zvládnutí základních měřičských úkonů, nivelace, zakreslení zkoumané plochy a jednotlivých archeologických objektů na polní plány. Praktické použití "švédské minivěže" a dalších přístrojů.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Pro udělení zápočtu se požaduje znalost základních archeologických metod v terénu a jejich použití v daných terénních podmínkách.
