- Course objectives
- The seminar is focused on informal correspondence, which is an important sphere of human communication that has not up to now been an object of scholarly interest too often. Students are led towards their own characteristics of this type of texts, from the viewpoints of linguistics, sociolinguitics and psycholinguistics. The characteristics is based on the corpus of informal letters and on secondary sources (not too numerous yet). The work in seminars is based on analysis of concrete materials (letters, e-mails and SMS).
- Syllabus
