Cyklus přednášek mapuje důležitá místa dějin hudební Itálie 16. - 18. století. Monografické přednášky pohlížejí na italskou hudbu tohoto období optikou klíčových skladatelských osobností, významných hudebních institucí, hudebního tisku, zvláštností hudebního provozu, společenského působení hudby atd.
