Course objectives
Psychological prose was a prestigious and popular genre especially in the first half of the 20th century. This course is going to deal with the Czech psychological prose since the mid-19th century. The emphasis will be placed on the peak period of psychological prose in the 1930s and 1940s. Students will also learn about the main representatives of the world psychological prose and their works.
