Course objectives
Philosophy as analysis of ontologic, metaphysical, ethical, artistic, aesthetical, logical problems. Discussion of chosen arguments, concepts, superstitions. Approach to philosophy in terms of criticism of its arguments.
Syllabus
  • Ontologic proof of God, discussion. Cosmologic proof of God, discussion. Ontologic statut of universals. Poppers three realms. What is logic about. What is metaphysics. Concept of objectivity. Philosophy as history of itself. Postmodernism. Sokals affair. Analytic philosophy versus phenomenology. Machiavelli and/or politics. Value of works of art.
