Course objectives (in Czech): Kurz je koncipován jako výklad polských poválečných dějin v epoše PLR s důrazem na společenské krize (1956, 1968, 1970, 1976 a 1980-81) a na chronologii a formy rezistence občanské společnosti vůči mocenskému monopolu PSDS. Pozornost je věnována polsko-československým vztahům, a to jak v rovině politické (kontakty na vládní a stranické úrovni), tak v oblasti spolupráce opozičních iniciativ (KOR, Charta 77, Polsko-československá solidarita).
