Course objectives

Reading of selected brasilian and african portuguese-writing authors.

Syllabus (in Czech)

I. Četba: Autoři: a) Brazílie: Machado de Assis, Jorge Amado,Graciliano Ramos, Joao Guimaraes Rosa, Murilo Rubiao, Rubem Fonseca c) Angola: Pepetela, Luandino Vieira, Ondjaki, Jose Eduardo Agualusa d) Mosambik: Mia Couto, Paulina Chiziane, Ana Tavares e) Kapverdy: Germano Almeida, Baltasar Lopes II. Práce s vybranými texty, komentáře, analýzy, převod do češtiny, pohledy na literárně historické kontexty. Předpokládá se intenzivní samostatná četba, příprava referátů a aktivní účast v diskusích o nich.
