- Course objectives
- Basic concepts of poetics in its historical development since Aristotle over Lessing, Schelling, Hegel to Peirce. Representatives of Russian literary criticism and aesthetics (A. N. Veselovskou, A. A. Potebňa, V. B. Šklovskij, V. V. Vinogradov, Ju. Tynjanov, R. Jakobson, V. M. Žirmunskij, V. Ja. Propp, Ju. M. Lotman, M. M. Bachtin and others). Basic concepts of semiotics. Theory of signs and its application in interdisciplinary comparative investigation. Literary genres and schools in genealogy of Russian literature. Poetics of literary kinds and genres, their specificity and correlation. The quetions followed include, among others: problems of style and structure, semantics and philosophy.
