Course objectives
The course is based on learning and repeating the basics of this south Slavic language, its written and oral form. Students should gain knowledge of phonetic, morphology and word-forming in Serbian language and improve the ability to communicate in Serbian   on the basic topics of everyday life.
Syllabus
  • Genitive plural of nouns, modal verbs, accusative singular and plural of nouns, adjectives and pronouns, numbers, accusative singular and the plural with proposals with verbs of movement, Instrumental singular and plural of nouns, adjectives and pronouns, perfect tense of verbs, Locative of nouns and adjectives with the proposals, dative singular and plural of nouns, adjectives and pronouns, Conversations: Travel, something about grandparents, Saturday evening, my apartment, My friends.

Teaching methods
Serbian: Seminars, 1½ hours per week, plus half an hour tutorials to be arranged individually with students.
Assessment methods
The course has a form of a class discussion. Conditions: credit - active participation in the seminar (maximum 3 absences)10%, all homework 10%, successfully written Credit test 70%. The test - the active participation in the seminar(maximum 3 absences)10%, all homework 10%, successfully written Credit test 50%, conversation 30%.
