Course objectives
The role of the utopias, visions and prognosis in the contemporary society. The interpretation of the concepts of postindustrial, postmodern, global, information and learning society. The global vision of the education in 21st century and its Czech modification in form of the National Program of Educational Evolution in the Czech Republic. Contemporary librarianship and its theories in broader context of information and communication sciences. The changing role of libraries of different kinds in the process of educational and non-educational systems.

  • 7. Analysis of current tendencies and visions of school and nonschool education in broader relations of information-communication processes in society and development of information technologies.
