Course objectives
The seminar will include lexical and stylistic exercises, the active use of lexis from discussed topics, interpretation of the text (listening or reading comprehensions), short essays on such topics. Part of the course will be devoted to creative writing. Participants will be able to try out some writing techniques that promote imagination and thought processes.
Syllabus
  • 1. introduction, conditions, collective authorship 2. house, apartment, human body, declination-poem 3. fruit and vegetables, colors, "akrostich" 4. Who knows what to do, the text - colors 5. animals, who lives where, the game "Bukvar" 6. buying, food, market, listening comprehension 7. professions, who works where, listening comprehension 8. cartoon, filling the text 9. revision, creating metaphors 10. "packing the suitcase" 11. credits

Teaching methods
Serbian: Seminars, 1½ hours per week, plus half an hour tutorials to be arranged individually with students.
Assessment methods
The course has a form of a class discussion. Conditions for passing the course - active participation in the seminar (which is allowed a maximum of 3 absence)10%, the processing of all domestic tasks 25%, successfully written test 65%.
