Course objectives (in Czech)
Přednášky si kladou za cíl podat vznik a utváření vojskového střežení státní hranice od roku 1951 do poloviny 50. let s nezbytnými přesahy. Popsat organizaci Pohraniční stráže, objasnit význam pohraničního režimu, ženijního zabezpečení. Vysvětlit postup pohraničníků vůči uprchlíkům a jeho varianty. Studenti se naučí formou komparace nacházet shody a rozdíly mezi organizací střežení státní hranice se Západním Německem a Rakouskem, shody a rozdíly v pokusech o překonání státní hranice. Získají přehled o prvních fázích vývoje tzv. železné opony. V závěru kursu by student měl být schopen konstruovat rysy ochrany státní hranice a její projevy vůči obyvatelstvu. Absolventi kursu využijí získaných poznatků v přednáškách a seminářích věnovaných poúnorovému vývoji Československa.
