Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the followings:
acquainting students with basic terminology - conservation, rastauration, preparation;
making students aware of methods of conservation work;
making students aware of documentation of conseravtion
Syllabus
  • Protection of museum objects (collecting, basics conservation, preventive conservatin, electronic security).
  • Methods of exploration.
  • Material of museum objects its types and history of production and fabrication.
  • Conservation and rastauration by materials (metals, wood, glass, ceramics, paper, etc.).
  • Surfaces, adhesives, pigments, colouring materials.
  • Climate in sorages, literature, climatology.
