- Course objectives
- Students have to demonstrate their language competence on C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (ERR) in a world language (English, French, German, Russian or Spanish). The required level of language competence can be achieved, by agreement with the tutor or the doctoral board, by the following:
A) Completing the subject Foreign Language – Publication and Foreign Language – Lecture (variety A).
B) Completing a language course in one of the above mentioned languages at the Masaryk University Language Centre (ends with: examination) (variety B).
Should doctoral students decide, by agreement with the tutor or the doctoral board, on language study at the Masaryk University Language Centre (obtaining 4 credits per course), they will supplement the missing number of credits within the scope of facultative subjects by attending Special Lecture IV.
If students demonstrate their language competence by completing Foreign Language – Lecture (variety A), these will simultaneously be acknowledged as the corresponding evaluation of the subject Research and Study III. - Syllabus
- Presentation of a scholarly paper in one the above mentioned languages at an international level (scholarly workshop, scholarly seminar or a conference with international participation of minimally European significance).
- Literature
- Literature is assigned on an individual basis based on the topic of the thesis.
- Literatura je předepsána individuálně podle tématu práce.
- Assessment methods
- Presentation of a scholarly paper in one the above mentioned languages at an international level (scholarly workshop, scholarly seminar or a conference with international participation of minimally European significance).
