Course objectives
The course aims to develop awareness about methods of searching for legal documents in libraries, electronic databases, automated systems and internet portals. Students that pass the course shall be able tohandle the Czech and European legal information resources; actively search and use various sources for basic legal research.
Syllabus
  • Basic legal terminology
  • General survey about the sources of legal informations
  • Presentation of systems ASPI and LexDATA
  • Basic informations about the EU and EU Law
  • Lagal aspects of elektronical electronic communication, e-government, e-justice, e-business etc.
  • Basic legal norms in the field of Information and Librarz Studies
  • Solution of basic model examples.
