Course objectives
This is the second part of the four-semester course of Latvian language. This course is meant primarily for practicing Latvian grammar and vocabulary, as there is another course (BA431) meant solely for the practicing of Latvian conversation. In this semester, we work especially with Latvian adjectives system and learn past verb tense.
Syllabus
  • This course is meant primarily for practicing Latvian grammar and vocabulary, as there is another course (BA431) meant solely for the practicing of Latvian conversation. In this semester, we work with 1) Latvian adjectives system – cases and graduation and 2) past verb tense. The vocabulary taught this semester consists of 1) orientation in town 2) shopping 3) geography 4) means of transport.
