Course objectives
The seminar cycle should offer to the students the basic overwiew about the reading of the German neo-gothic cursive (kurrent) at the modern period, it means since the XVII. Century AD to the XX. Century AD. At the end of the programme the student should be able to:
- use the knowledges from the development od the latin script from the XVII.th to the XX.th Cent. on the historical sources
- transcribe selected original German texts from the XVI.th to the XX.th Cent.
- analyse and read original German texts from the XVII.th to the XX.th Cent.
