Course objectives
At the end of this course students should understand the theory of cognitive functions (basic characteristics, pathology, deficit, diagnostics, rehabilitation). They should be able to use basic psychodiagnostic methods and techniques of cognitive training. Students also should get a view of actual issues in this field.
Syllabus
  • basic concepts: memory, concentration, visuo-spatial orientation, logic, verbal communication, executive functions
  • methods: trail making test, verbal fluency test, rey-osterrieth figure,...
  • disorders and psychopatologies connected with cognitive deficits
  • cognitive rehabilitation techniques
