Course objectives
Objectives:
  • Course Creative Information Work supports topic area of development student's information literacy. It advances information literacy skills which are necessary for effective development and success of individual in information society. Course improves computer literacy as well.

    At the end of this course, students should be able to:
  • define and use methods of information overload
  • effectively apply principles of brainstormin
  • term and compare basic information visualisation tools
  • prepare mind maps
  • utilize methods of effective reading and creative writing
  • apply fundamental principles of typography of scholarly papers
  • use tools for information gathering (polling,questionnaire, surveys)
  • design and prepare catchy presentation
  • interpret elements of verbal and nonverbal communication
  • describe and use Internet publication tools
