Course objectives
The lecture deals with the history of the French speaking inhabitants of Canada from the beginning till the present days. The single chapters of the course are dedicated to the political and institutional aspects of the historical development as well as to the cultural questions, especially in relation to the French and English speaking areas.

Lecture: description of the main historical problems, explanation and definition of basic notions and their demonstration on concrete historical events and texts by concrete authors.
