The course is a continuance of a preceding course under the same name (Japanese Writing I.) from the previous semester intended for Japanese language master students.

Course objectives
The objective of the course is to master basic Japanese characters, the knowledge of which will be indispensable in other Japanese language courses. Throughout the course students will learn more characters and their combinations, by means of which they will enlarge their vocabulary. Correct writing and reading of these characters will be a condition for further study. The course ends with a written examination, which will summarize the characters learned throughout the semester. Course attendance is compulsory.

Teaching methods
Practical drills aimed at mastering the correct writing of Japanese characters.
Assessment methods
The course ends with a written examination, which will summarize the characters learned throughout the semester. The test will be considered successfully passed above 70 %. Regular class attendance is compulsory.
