- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to introduce fundamental aspects of intercultural setting, to obtain basic knowledge on intercultural contexts and to understand relationships of globally connected world with specific national and cultural characteristics.

- Course contents: 1. Fundamental terms of intercultural psychology a. Defining intercultural psychology b. Culture, acculturation, cultural dimensions, cultural standards c. Intercultural perception 2. Intercultural communication a. Language and communication in intercultural relationship b. Intercultural dimensions in communication c. Intercultural learning d. Intercultural differences in negotiation behavior of ethnics and nations e. Nonverbal communication in intercultural context 3. Intercultural competencies a. - Exam and written assignment The final exam is a 25 minute long written test (multiple-choice questions - a/b/c/d + open questions). Maximum is 20 point, minimum to pass is 12 points. Relative weight of test results on the overall results is 67 %.
