- Course objectives
- The seminar will help students in understanding historical texts and ability to deepen their interpretation.
- Syllabus
- In the spring semester 2016 seminar loosely bound to the course UMPRUM - art, industry and museum in the long 19th century, the attention will focus on the theoretical aspects of the constitution of museums of decorative art. The main topic will be reading and interpretation of texts architect Gottfried Semper. A prerequisite to participate in the exercise is a good knowledge of German.
