Course objectives
From the 3th until the 14th of July 2016 the yearly Comenius Summer School of Dutch Language and Culture is being organized at the Masaryk University in Brno. Forty students from Central Europe can participate. They get intensive classes of language acquisition and get to know Dutch and Flemish culture - and the culture of the host country. An important side goal is for students of Dutch from the region to get to know each other.
By means of this workshop students of Dutch Language and Literature in Brno get involved in this project as well. They get to know the organization Comenius and learn how to enlarge their network: they are acquainted with fellow-students of Dutch in the region. Participants of the workshop learn how to work in teams. They help organizing several activities and developing information materials. They will have meetings, negotiate and report in Dutch and they have to write at least one article for the information booklet for the summer school participants.
