- Course objectives
- In this reading seminar, students read a selection of theoretical texts based on different epistemologies relevant in the study of religion today.
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:- discuss complicated theoretical texts;
- write essays on a specified topic, based on clear argument.

- Home reading. Discussion on the readings, their use and implications. Essay.
- Assessment methods
- Evaluation of three essays based on the required readings and specified questions. The precision, relevance, and formal and scholarly quality of the essays make 100 percent of the evaluation.
