- Course objectives
- The course introduces students to a definition of public administration, its different formats (state administration, municipal, ecclesiastical and patrimonial), and above all the historical development of the institutions of state administration in the Czech lands since the beginning of the Czech state until 1620;

- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- characterise the basic concepts of public and state administration
- chart the development of the Czech state’s administrative apparatus until 1620
- describe the individual administrative institutions
- analyse literature on administrative themes - Syllabus

- Administration under the Luxembourgs;
- Administration during the era of Hussite movement;
- Administration during the post-Hussite era 1436-1526;
