Course objectives
The aim of the course is to present new contemporary authors taking into account the social, cultural and historical context of the country. With reference to the authors, several passages will be read and commented to identify themes, style and linguistic features.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to: -report on the main features of the selected readings( novelist, setting, characters and themes) - identify the novelist and the characters´points of view -identify the contemporary literary context referred to -identify the style and the linguistic features of the selected passages
Syllabus
  • Introduction to the Italian contemporary literary scenario, with reference to the last 10-20 years
  • Presentation of chosen authors, with reference to main works and themes - Readings and text analysis
Teaching methods
Interactive lessons implemented on the basis of Communicative Language Teaching practices - Class debate on given topics - TBL Task Based Learning

Účast na semináři je pro zapsané studenty povinná. Zápočet: seminární práce. Zkouška: písemná práce.
