Course objectives
1) to get knowledge of key studies in several specific areas of psychology, 2) to induct general principles of human behavior and mental life on the basis of the obtained knowledge 3) to reflect and be able to apply the knowledge in everyday life situations

  • 1) Course information + behavioral economics: "laws" of human irrationality in behaviour and decision-making 2) Motivation and self-regulation: habits and goals; reason and emotion 3) Social psychology: conformity, obedience, group processes 4) Developmental psychology 5) Cross-cultural psychology: differences in basic psychological processes 6) TBA 7) colloquium

Assessment methods
Throughout the semester, students are required to complete electronic quizzes based on provided materials and lectures. The final colloquium is in the form of a discussion in small groups. Students are asked to discuss questions provided in advance.
