Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to name the line of development of linguistics in 19th and 20th century; name given schools and authors; demonstrate their main thesis; compare them.
Learning outcomes
Finishing the course, the student will be able to: - describe the methodological development of the linguistics in the 19th and 20th century - explain the important methodological shifts and interpret them - put the history of the linguistics in the context of the general history of the world and the history of the science
