- Prerequisites
- At the end of the semester students will be able * to formulate their own apprehension in the reflexion on media art. * to recognize the influences which affected these media art works * to analyze particular works of media artist according to their position in media art history * to evaluate the contribution of the key works from the history to the development of media art.

- Course objectives
- The scope of seminars is primarily videoprojection, which introduces students the main characteristic artwork of new media. In this semester seminas maps the history of robotic art and digital art from ´90 till today. The goal of the AV seminar is widening the knowledge about art works, which use the ICT and biotechnology in the broader cultural context.

- 1) Final work: own artwork – an audiovisual essay where the student demonstrates their own understanding of a selected direction of new media art. 2) Attendance: 4 absences allowed
