- Course objectives
- The course aims to develop students' argumentation skills and support their active participation in the discussion.
Students will be acquainted with factors that significantly influence the style and the way of communication. The course is specific because it includes a minimum of theory and develops practical skills and independent critical thinking of the student through discussion of various (often controversial) topics. - Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to:
- describe the principles of healthy communication;
- identify differences and common characteristics between one's identity and the roles he/she has in life;
- name various types of cognitive biases and give examples;
- formulate and present their own opinion on the topics covered in the course - Syllabus
