- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is:
- orientate students in the issues of information behavior studies and the interdisciplinary nature of their research,
- to support their ability to analyze critical texts and trends in information behavior research,
- to provide a basis for their own research in the field of information behavior - Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
- to describe the differences between the basic paradigms of information science, to evaluate their advantages and disadvantages, to assign to the paradigms the corresponding methods of research
- interpret models of information behavior
- analyze information behavior of users in different situations by different methods
- describing information behavior to draw conclusions on the design of services and systems - Syllabus
