- Course objectives
- The course is dealing with overview on key figures of Czech theatrology. Special attention is given to contextualisation, relation of theory to theatre praxis and close reading of chosen source texts.

At the end of the course student will be able to:
- elaborate on main Czech theatre studies' personalities
- put them in social nad historical context;
- explain the most important directions of reasoning about theatre;
