- Course objectives
- The student is able to list basic branches and languages of Indo-European family; can demonstrate their mutual relativity; knows basic terminology and problematics of IE linguistics; is able to describe morphonemic system of reconstructed protolanguage and to work with given literature.
- Learning outcomes
- The student is able to apply his knowledge from comparative grammar in both the word formation and etymological analysis of concrete words.
