- Course objectives
- This examination is at CPE / C2 (European Framework) level. It is an oral Proficiency Examination - CPE level FORMAT: Part 1 (4 minutes) Interview Part 2 (6 minutes) Collaborative task based on complex questions
- Learning outcomes
- Learners will be able to: 1. Speak on their own for an extended period of time showing good control of sophisticated grammatical structures and lexis. 2. Manage their discourse effectively in terms of contribution relevance, coherence and cohesion. 3. Demonstrate turn taking skills during the collaborative task, express opinions on the topic posed, and react appropriately to their partner's contributions. 4. Speak in such a way that is intelligible and places little strain on the listener.
- Syllabus
- Part 1: Interview At the beginning of the speaking test the candidates will be given the opportunity to offer personal information. Part 2: Collaborative task based on visual materials. The candidates will be asked to talk together for about 5 minutes in connection to the task.
