Course objectives
This course aims to allow students to reflect, share and discuss key issues from their Teaching practice experience with other students. Run parallel with Teaching practice the topics covered in this course will directly correspond to the areas related to teaching English at upper secondary school which the students deal with during their teaching practice.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, a student will be able to:
- Analyse, evaluate and reflect on their classroom practice and identify key areas for improvement in their teaching.
- Analyse, evaluate and reflect on their knowledge of school policy and working life in an upper secondary school including institutional aspects of planning and teaching, and communication with colleagues and parents.
- Formulate their professional development aims and evaluate their achievement.
