Course objectives
The objective of the course is to introduce students into the grammar system of the Old Church Slavonic language. Phonetic and morphological evolution processes during the pre-historical period up to the time of the Slavonic unity disintegration as well as development of the individual Slavonic languages will be explained. Attention will be given on cultural, historical and political circumstances of creation of Old Church Slavonic too. Part of the lectures will be devoted to reading and analysis of texts in this language.
Learning outcomes
Absolvent of this course will be able to read and understand texts in Old Church Slavonic language and conduct grammatical analysis of it.

Assessment methods
Oral exam - student will read short text in Old Church Slavonic and point out flective words, answer one question from flective morphology of Old Church Slavonic.
