- Participants identify key components of lesson plans prepared by student teachers for their teaching practice and discuss their significance for the professional preparation of future teachers. They share their experiences of working with student teachers on lesson planning, reflect on how and when they revisit these plans during the practicum, and how they provide constructive feedback to students regarding their preparation. Together, they explore different approaches to working with lesson plans, inspire each other, and develop their own strategy for systematically supporting student teachers in planning and reflecting on their lessons throughout the practicum.
- Learning outcomes
- Participants know what a lesson plan should look like, as prepared by students in teacher education programs for their teaching practice. Thanks to this knowledge, they are able to support students in creating these plans and provide them with feedback on their planning. At the same time, participants understand the importance of well-prepared lesson plans for effective professional training of student teachers, and as a result, they have established a system for when and how they work with students on their plans.
