  • Landscape sphere/ecosphere of the Earth. Physical landscape processes. Landscape globions and semiglobions. World's unique physical landscapes. Human landscape/ cultural landscape. Historical cultural landscapes. Land cover and land use, human activities shaping the face of the Earth. Human environment and landscape ecosystems.
  • Landscape ecosystems. Biogeochemical cycles. Methods, procedures and techniques of landscape ecosystems study. Landscape ecosystems as natural resources. Human interventions into landscape ecosystems.
  • Oceans and seas. Water masses. Air-ocean interactions, oceanic life and ecosystems. The landscapes. Fishery and mariculture, power from the sea, mineral deposits, pollution, diseases and disturbances, changing sea level, frozen seas. Managing and protecting the oceans.
  • Terrestrial generic landscape ecosystems.Ideal continent - physical landscape zones and mountain tiers, planetary model of landscape zonality. Latitude zonality, concentricity, sectors. The classification of landscape ecosystems. Physical landscape zones. Cultural landscapes.
