- 1. Plant pathology - basic terms. Historic background. Plant disease - classification, spectrum of biotic agents. 2. Biotic relationships - pathogenicity. Infection process. 3. Reaction of host on infection agent - basic terms. Resistance, susceptibility, tolerance, type of resistance. 4. genetic aspects of host-pathogen relationship. Infection process of pathogens, disease resistance of host plants, methods of determining disease resistance. 5. Environmental factors influencing host-pathogen relations. 6. Epidemiology. Basic methods of plant protection. Pathometric methods. 7. Diseases of cereals. 8. Diseases of potatoes and sugarbeet. 9. Diseases of leguminous plants. 10. Diseases of vegetables. 11. Diseases of fruits. 12. Diseases of of forest trees.
