- Course objectives
- Enclaves in granitoid rocks display great significance in determination of their origin and evolution. Macro-, meso- and microscopic features as well as modal composition and WR chemistry are investigated for prescription of their mutual relationships and patterns of interaction. There has been 5 basic types of enclave which we can distinguish in terms of their macroscopic attributes and genetic relation to the host rock especially.
- Syllabus
- 1) Enclaves significance for investigation of origin and evolution of granitoid rocks. 2) Classification of enclaves. 3) Macro- and microscopic features of enclaves. 4) Modal and chemical composition of enclaves. 5) Genesis of enclaves relate to the host rocks.
