- Course objectives
- Main objective of Behavioural ecology course is making students aware of adaptive importnace of behaviour and its impact on individual survival and maximalization of inclusive fitness. Moreover, to study influence of ecological conditions on behaviour changes. Behavioural ecology is the synergic research of behaviour, ecology and evolution.

- 1. Evolution of adaptations in behavior 2. Survival and reproductive success of the animals 3. Economic decisions in behavior 4. Interaction predator vers.prey, intra (inter) specific competition, individual differrences 5. Sexual selection, evolution of reproductive strategies. Sperm competition, parental investment. 6. Evolution of signals
