Teaching methods
A short-term stay at an institution. Selection of the institution depends on preferences of the student, and on ability of the institution to accept students for practice. Students could settle their stay independently in an institution corresponding with their research interests, or they could choose from a list provided by the Department of Geography. In each case they should consult their selection with the course tutor. The list of institutions is updated on a yearly basis. The specific date and workload of the stay is a matter of settlement between the student and the selected institution. The length of the stay is two weeks/10 working days.
Assessment methods
To attest their stay, students can choose one of two alternative ways: • 1. Submission of the results of their work completed during their professional stay, or • 2. Submission of a report about their stay(in a given structure). • In both cases the final outcome must be signed by a professional employee of the partner institution (a contact person).
