Course objectives
The goal of the course is to provide the student with basic rules how to prepare and present scientific data. During the course, students will present and discuss with other colleagues about their presentations skills.
Learning outcomes
Within the course students will learn: - how to structure presentation - timing of presentations - dynamics of presentation - starting wide, getting narrow and finishing wide - communication with the audience - one size does not fit all
Syllabus
  • 1) Introduction 2) Typography and general rules 3) Timing and practicing presentation 4) Description of graphs and field specific results 5) Presentation practicing 6) Closing remarks and discussion

Assessment of the students of the course will be based on the following criteria: 1) comprehensibility of the presentation 2) following of the general presentation rules 3) clarity of the talk
