Course objectives
The course is devoted mainly to the students of geology (master program) interested in hydrogeology. The course presents overview of the regional hydrogeology in the Czech Republic.
Learning outcomes
Student will be fully familiar with the regional hydrogeology of Moravia and Silesia, properties of groundwater in individual units and will understand the relations and differences between individual hydrogeological units.

  • Hydrogeology of the Paleozoic complex; limestones
  • Hydrogeology of the Cretaceous sediments; important basins and aquifers
  • Hydrogeology of the Neogene sediments; the Carpathian Foredeep
  • Hydrogeology of the Quaternary sediments

Výuka předmětu G9401 Regionální hydrogeologie proběhne poslední týden v podzimním semestru tj. od 10.2. do 14.2.2020 v učebně Gs na budově 11. Výuka bude probíhat celý týden od 8:00 do 18:00 (dle potřeb vyučujícího). Výjimka je pondělí 10.2.2019, kdy výuka začne až ve 13:15!
