- The main goal of this theoretical course is to prepare students for C6920 Chemistry and methods of conservation-restoration of objects made from inorganic materials II - practical course.

- The main goal of this theoretical course is to prepare students for C6920 Chemistry and methods of conservation-restoration of objects made from inorganic materials II - practical course.
- Syllabus
- The course will be devoted to following topics:
- l.Cleaning of ceramics - object investigation, mechanical and chemical cleaning
- 2:Cleaning of glass. Cleaning of gypsum artifacts.
- 3:Gluing of ceramics. Shapes for fill materials.
- 4:Gluing of glass. Filling-in of ceramics.
- 5:Filling-in of glass. Cementation of ceramics and glass.
- 6:Cleaning and conservation of mineralogical samples designated for collection purposes.
- 7:Conservation of historical stone architectonic element made from arenaceous marl.
- 8:Conservation and partial restoration of historical stone element made from sandstone.
- 9:Restoration of architectonic element made from marble by using artificial stone.
- 10:Utilization of plasma pencil for surface treatment of various materials.
- 11:Utilization of low-pressure hydrogen plasma for reduction of corrosion formed on metallic objects.
