- Prerequisites
- Basic skills in work with computer and basic knowledge of programming in Pascal is assumed.
- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to teach students, how to use the computer-based technologies in experimental work in laboratory. At the end of the course students should be able to give overview of technologies, which can be used on PC for control of physical experiment. They should be able to explain their principle and main differences among them. They will be aware of terminology, which they will apply in search for suitable laboratory equipment. They will be able to write simple programs for physical measurement and experiment control (communication with multimeters, measurement cards and modules, laboratory power sources etc.).
