  • Historical Background, Conditions of in vitro Culture. In vitro Vegetative Multiplication, Types of Regeneration, Thermotherapy. Callus Culture. Suspension Cell Culture, Direct and Indirect Somatic Embryogenesis. Test-tube Pollination, Fertilisation in vitro. Embryo Culture. Androgenesis (Anther Culture, Microspore and Pollen Culture), Gynogenesis (Ovary and Ovule Culture), Dihaploidization. Protoplast Culture, Isolation and Fusion of Protoplasts, Somatic Hybridisation. Direct and Indirect Methods of Transformation. Cryopreservation.
