Syllabus
  • Elementary introduction to some aspects of solid state physics of materials. Physical Chemical properties, behaviour and preparation of materials (thermodynamics, chemical equilibria, mechanical properties, crystal defects, optical and electrical properties, CVD method etc.). Materials: crystals, metals, alloys, solid electrolytes, ceramic and powder materials, glasses, optical glasses, metallic glasses, semiconductors, superconductors, optical fibres etc.
