Knowledge of fundamental chromatographic principles and parameters on the level of introductionary part of C5910 course, Chromatographic methods I. CE/MS and GC/MS methods are discussed in C5900 course, Mass spectrometry.

II.3 Adsorption gas chromatography: Features, adsorbents, applications. II.4 Capillary columns: packed, WCOT, PLOT, SCOT. II.5 Mobile phase: Properties of gases. II.6 Instrumentation. GC/MS, GC/AED, and GC/FTIR hyphenation. Multidimensional GC. Parameter programming.
